At Arpeggio Wedding Entertainment we typically meet and book our couples digitally without meeting in person until the wedding day. Sounds crazy right? But many of our couples live out of state and are fine chatting with us through emails, texts, phone calls, and video calls leading up to their wedding day. Not to mentioned everyone has increasingly busy lives and schedules and with COVID-19 things are a bit turned around from the ‘norm’.
As we all continue to practice social distancing our virtual features have come in handy with prospective couples. Let’s walk through what a booking process looks like when you hire us at Arpeggio Wedding Entertainment. You can get all the music squared away for your wedding day from the comfort of your own couch! How great does that sound?
The first step is on you; you will need to reach out to us about your wedding day. Debbie will then chat with you more about your wedding and answer your questions via phone call, text, Skype, email, or whatever method you are most comfortable with! From there we need to get a sense of what you are looking for just a DJ, maybe a DJ and a photo booth or DJ, lighting, and a photo booth. Every wedding is different, and one price does not fit all our weddings which is why we customize a package tailored to your needs. WE don’t want you paying for things you do not need.
After Debbie talks with you in more detail about your wedding, she will send over a quote on what you have discussed. Our quote will lay out all the details and a few different options for you to consider. Take time to look it over with your fiancé and any other decision-makers. If you think it would be helpful, we can set up a time for the DJ available to reach out to you to ensure we are a good fit. Once you decide on which package is the best fit for your wedding, we will send over a contract along with access to your online client portal. We can also send the contract digitally so you can simply e-sign from your computer and start planning.
Our online portal is your piece of homework for your wedding day. You can access it 24/7 making it easy to plan your wedding day music on your time. The portal allows you to select your special songs, select songs that you don’t want to hear during your reception, and much more! This personalized account lets your DJ learn a little more about your tastes and personality, and helps you stay organized with your music selections.
The Big Day
As your wedding gets closer about 2 weeks prior to your wedding day you will be locked out of the online portal. At this time, we will be in touch to set up a meeting (in-person or a phone call) with your DJ to review all the information you have entered into the portal.
Weddings may be postponed, but we don’t need to pause all planning. We are fortunate to live in a time where so much of the details can be decided upon virtually! Planning the music for your big day is a great thing to figure out from home, while you have plenty of extra time on your hands!
