FINALLY RED CARPETS ARE BACK! The Met Gala raises funds for the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, the Gala returns after being cancelled last year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This year's costume theme is In America: A Lexicon of Fashion" - and the looks were inspired by everything from the Matrix film franchise to the Statue of Liberty.
The ball was co-hosted by pop star Billie Eilish, tennis player Naomi Osaka, actor Timothée Chalamet and poet Amanda Gorman. BBC
All the co-hosts had very different interpretations. But Billie Eilish brought the old school Hollywood glam with her stunning ballgown.
Couples night out!
Alicia Keys and her husband Swizz Beats. Alicia had an interesting sheer button-down with a glamour train following her.
From beyond the wall the Game of Thrones alumni Kit Harrington and Rose Leslie looked stunning.
All glitz and glam were the Curry's.
More stunning younger stars (Justin Bieber & Hallie Baldwin, Brooklyn Beckham & Nicola Peltz and Shawn Mendes & Camilla Cabello) looking gorgeous on the 'beige' carpet. We didn't even mind that Shawn Mendes forgot his shirt.
Lil Nas X took a page our of the Lady Gaga's Met Gala look fro 2019 with 3 outfits.
Some interesting outfits for these gentleman. Would David approve of Dan Levy's carpet debut? Most likely yes! Frank Ocean with a 'Shrek' like baby was different. And Pete Davidson looks like he was missing his bagpipes.
Some stars that left me disappointed were Jennifer Lopez - although kudos for wearing her line of shoes available at DSW. Rihanna arriving fashionably late also left us disappointed. And Simone Biles with a dress that weighed 88 pounds - what a workout!
Peter Pan called and wants his shadow back from Kim Kardashian.
Some favorite looks from the night were Emily Blunt looking like lady liberty. Hailee Steinfeld who made everyone do a double take with her blonde looks. Megan Thee Stallion looked marvelous. Kristen Stewart went bold with her pink jacket and white pant outfit.
My best dressed pick of the night has to be Kendall Jenner she stole the show and looked absolutely STUNNING!
Who was your best dressed pick? Did any looks give you wedding inspiration?
