5 Ways to Celebrate Your Wedding Anniversary

Whether or not it is your 1st of 10th anniversary here are 5 ways you can always celebrate!

5 Ways to Celebrate Your Wedding Anniversary

Celebrate your first wedding anniversary with a look back at your wedding day.  Here are 5 fun ways to celebrate this momentous occasion. Be sure to follow us on Instagram as we give a special first anniversary shoutout to our couples where you can see their wedding photos and music they picked out.

Eat Your Cake
If you did not freeze your cake, you can make a cake with the same flavors as your wedding cake and decorate it similarly, complete with your cake topper or the kinds of flowers you featured at your wedding. Or call the bakery you purchased your cake from and have them make a small replica! Some bakeries invite you to have a piece of the same cake you had at your wedding!

Photos & Video
Remember the big day by viewing it through your videos and wedding albums. You could make popcorn, snuggle on the couch, and reminisce about your wedding while watching the video of it and going through your albums.

One of our past couples Jami & Ryan always shows their now two sons the scrapbook album from their photo booth. The kids love pointing out relatives in these candid photos.

Dinner at Your Wedding Venue
Go back to your reception site and order something that was on your wedding menu. If you cannot make it to the site, cook something from your wedding day menu at home.

Take a Trip
Why not celebrate with an anniversary trip! You can do a quick weekend trip or plan something more extensive. There is no lovelier way to celebrate your anniversary than by de-stressing in a beautiful place with nothing to do but spend time with one another.
Great drivable weekend trips from New England include: Newport, RI, Providence, RI, Martha’s Vineyard, Portsmouth, NH, Portland, ME or even NYC!

Throw a Party
Having an anniversary party might seem like the least romantic idea, but it is an especially great one for couples who never had a reception or eloped. Celebrating with close family and friends is a way for you to thank them for their help and support during your first year as a married couple. If you did have a reception, you can hire your Arpeggio Wedding Entertainment for the party, or have your vows renewed!

Most of all enjoy yourselves! We want to wish you a happy anniversary even if it is your fifth or fifteenth anniversary from Arpeggio Wedding Entertainment!
