The biggest fear is that your guests will not attend your wedding if it is not on a Saturday. While guests may need to leave work early or take the day off depending on the time and location of your wedding, those that mean the most to you will be happy to attend. If your besties told you, they were getting married on a Tuesday at 2 pm you would absolutely be there.

Holidays like Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Columbus Day are popular weekends to get married. The Friday or Sunday of holiday weekends for weddings are desirable since couples and their guests will try to make a whole weekend out of the celebration. . If you choose to look at a date on a holiday weekend, be sure to plan far in advance to ensure guests can get flights, cars, and hotels.

The first dates to book up for vendors are Saturdays. If you plan your wedding on another day you will get your pick of the top vendors.

If you decide Friday wedding for instance, consider starting it a bit later, so that your guests might not have to take a full day out of work but can still celebrate with you.

If you decide to have a Sunday wedding be mindful that most of your guests will have to travel and work the next day so having the wedding a little earlier is very courteous so guests can leave and be able to get back to work Monday.
