Wedding websites have grown tremendously in popularity over the past few years. They are a wonderful place to collect all the information that cannot fit on your wedding invitations such as registry information, hotel information, directions, etc. Some couples even use their wedding websites to collect RSVPs.

Making a wedding website is easier than ever, and they can be extremely customized. Websites you might already be using for your wedding planning like The Knot, Wedding Wire and Zola make it easy for you to create a wedding website. If you are thinking of having a wedding website here are our suggestions for what you should include in it.

Your Love Story
Not all your guests will have heard your love story, include a brief description of how you met, your proposal, it is a 'get to know you' section.

Photos
Everyone loves photos so display some of your favorites, even some of your engagement photos.

Venue Info
Always include your venue name and address.  If you know the times you want guests to arrive include that too.  Directions are also helpful to any out-of-town guests.

Registry
Everyone will be asking so to try to add the information for your registries on your page.  Most sites can integrate your registries to your wedding website.

Contact Info
Have some way for guest to contact you. Many websites have a contact us plugin where guest can contact you then you are notified. Making a wedding-related email is also helpful.

Timeline
If you know your timeline includes it.  What time does your ceremony start? Where is it? When is your cocktail hour? Is your reception at another venue? Are you having a post-wedding brunch the next day?

Meet the Wedding Party
Guest usually enjoy hearing about who is in your wedding party, include a photo and how you met.

Hotel Room Block Information
If you have a room block for your guests let them know how they can reserve a room within the room block.  Include a phone number so your guests can call to reserve their room.

Area Attractions
Include some things for your guests to do while they are in the area for your wedding.  Some tourist attractions or your favorite places to eat.

Song Requests
